Match report: Plymouth Argyle 0 Chesterfield 1

MARC Richards’ second goal in as many games gave Chesterfield their third consecutive win away at Plymouth Argyle.

A strong defensive display from the Spireites saw them weather a first half storm as the hosts did everything but score.

The Pilgrims will feel aggrieved after claims for a penalty were turned down by referee Graham Scott.

But Paul Cook and his men won’t mind as they continue in their bid to close the gap on those at the top of the League Two table.

Full match report to follow.
