Chesterfield Borough Council is offering free parking for football fans, for all Chesterfield FC Saturday games starting this weekend with the derby clash at at the Proact Stadium against against Rotherham.
Supporters can park at the council’s depot car park on Old Brickworks Lane, down the side of Chester’s Fish and chip restaurant and takeaway.
This is a pilot scheme until the end of the year, if successful the car park will continue to be available for all future games.
As a further bonus, fans using the car park will be issues with a discount ticket to use at Chester’s Fish Bar.
