The winner of the VIP day out at the B2net Stadium is Alan Allsop from North Wingfield.
Alan will be treated to match day hospitality when Chesterfield FC take on neighbours Derby County in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, August 11.
In addition to a bucks fizz reception, a three-course meal and a whole range of other treats, Alan and his guest will also receive a new replica Puma shirt, signed by the players and a football signed by John Sheridan’s squad.
The competition, staged in conjunction with the football club, was offered to readers to mark the new look and relaunch of the Derbyshire Times and attracted dozens of entries.
