Motor cycle racer Terry Brocklehurst is in seventh heaven.

For Terry has won the Classic Motorcycle Club Championship for an unequalled seventh time.

He received trophies at a dinner dance and presentation at Daventry to mark his success.

Terry, from Whitwell, is the project engineer for Penny Hydraulics, of Clowne and he won the title astride a Spencer Racing 200cc Suzuki.

He took wins and lap records at every circuit he raced at over the season, culminating in him again clinching the Classic Ultralightweight Championship.

The bike Terry rides is owned by Susannah Spencer, the business support manager for NFT based at Alfreton.
