Starting from Holmebrook Valley Park the route went through Cupthorpe and returned via Old Brampton and Loundsley Green. This year’s race, pictured, attracted more than 300 entries and the winner was Ryan Holroyd of Staffordshire Moorland in 54-12.

Crossing the line second was Matt Whitfield of Notts AC while in third place was M. MacGinty in 57-39.

The winner of the ladies race was Amy Green of Keighley AC. In second place Was Nikki Lealon of Huncote Harriers in 64-06 and coming home third was Kaeti McKenzie of Barnsley AC.

Each finisher of the Spire 10 received a bottle of Brampton Brewrey beer and a commemorative T-shirt.

The Brampton Manor Fun Run course had to be slightly adjusted to 1.5 miles due to flooding on part of the course.

The race attracted 30 youngsters and was won by Chris Nealon in 9-20, 2nd Calvin Karpenkto in 10-30 and in 3rd place and first girl was Rachel Nealon.
