Chesterfield Panthers’ seconds produced a dominant display to overcome East Leake 60-0.

Ash Holland led from the front and it was from his tough tackling that led to Jake Blake going over in the corner after good work by Andrew Macefield.

Lee Laughton went over for a second try and Panthers were beginning to gain momentum. James Kennedy got a third with Chris Cooper converting.

A superb solo effort from Reece Newton saw him leave the East Leake defence in his wake from a seemingly impossible starting position to go over. Rich Keeling converted.

Phillip Cawthorne got his name on the try sheet before the break with Cooper adding the extras. A 31-0 lead at half time gave Panthers chance to change things up.

Ryan Lane went under the posts, Keeling converting. Kennedy got his second in the corner, Blair went over under the posts and Keeling converted.

Grant Teagle got a well-deserved try before the final try came from Newton, whose twinkle toes got him away and never to be caught.
