ALFRETON Town make their longest journey of the season on Tuesday evening when they visit Barrow AFC in Blue Square Bet Premier Division action.

Manager Nicky Law will be without injured central defensive trio Matt Wilson, Adie Hawes and Leigh Franks, but striker Paul Clayton is expected to have recovered from a ‘dead leg’ received during the 3-2 victory over Hayes & Yeading United last Saturday.

Also missing the fixture is winger Jamie Mullan who sits the game out as he serves the first of a three-match suspension following his sending off on Saturday.

Mullan will also miss the game at Southport on Saturday (January 3) and at home to Newport County next Tuesday (January 6).

The Reds go into the game on the back of picking up four points from their last two games and have the chance to record a league double over the Cumbrians having beaten Barrow 2-1 at the Impact Arena back on September 20.
