Alfreton Town have parted company with central midfield player Levi Mackin whose contract has been terminated by mutual agreement.

Mackin, 25, joined the Reds in early July after being released by York City but he has struggled to keep a starting shirt, making 14 appearances in all competitions, including one as a substitute, out of a possible total of 32.

He scored twice for the Reds, netting the penalty which helped gain Alfreton’s 1-0 August Bank Holiday Monday victory at York City and once in the 3-2 defeat at Gresley FC in the Derbyshire Senior Cup.
