Chesterfield Panthers U17s have qualified to represent the Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire area in the RFU National Bowl Competition.
This is a huge achievement as only 128 teams are nominated nationwide.
To achieve this qualification Chesterfield have beaten Paviors and Melbourne in the qualifying competition.
Squad manager Shawn Holleworth said: “We are really proud of our lads for their commitment and hard work in getting this far.
“Their success is also a tribute to the hard work of coaches Mark Blair and Nathan Holmes and our thanks must go to them for their dedication to the squad.”
The National competition comprises of a quarter-final, semi-final and final for Midlands region and then semi-final and final for nationals.
The Midlands quarter final draw has seen the Panthers team get a home fixture against Market Harborough on Sunday, March 4.
