Killamarsh-based Arrows U14s basketball team came from behind to complete a stunning away victory against York.

Scorers were Abdifatah 25, Adan 14, Lycoudis 10, Martin 4, Dennison 3 and Walcott.

This victory keeps them in third place in the division with a 7–5 record.

Arrows U16s 78, Durham Wildcats 90

Will Hopper had 26 points for the Arrows while Gareth Williams and Nick Holt were a powerful combination on the boards before the north Derbyshire players were undone by a quartet of ‘three pointers’.

Arrows U18s 83, Durham Wildcats 48

Arrows remain unbeaten in 2011 as they led throughout and this victory takes their season’s record to 10-3.

Arrows 64 Mansfield Giants 94

Arrows could not contain Mansfield guard Calvin Morrant who scored 42 points.

The Arrows led 16-14 at the end of the first but failed to win another quarter. Steven Hodge scored 24, James Kelly 12 and Purnell 9 while Sam Spare amassed 18 rebounds.
