Matt bags four as U10s clinch title

Needing to win their last game to secure the league title Brampton Rovers U10s finished in style with an emphatic 8-0 victory over Hallam Rangers.

Matthew Francis 4, Jamie Sharman, Albie White, Callum Spencer and Nathan Shaw scored the goals, with a superb all round performance from every player.

Brampton U9s finished their season with a 9-2 win at Laughton Boys.

Scorers were George Roberts 2, Rebecca Hanley 2, Jacob Botham, Thomas Day, Oliver Hall, Joe Osborn and Sam Gratton.

Players of the day were Jacob Botham and Lewis Barnett.

Brampton U15s showed great character in an excellent team performance coming from behind to beat Ecclesall Rangers 4-1.

On target were Joshua Nicholls 2, Callum Featherstone and Marcus Vickery.

Brampton U15s drew 1-1 at Sheffield Wednesday Young Owls.

Josh Nicholls scored for Rovers with Dan White and Marcus Vickery receiving the man of the match awards.

Having already wrapped up the league title Brampton U13s finished off the season with a fine 5-3 win away at Junior Fox. The goals were shared between Rhys Mullins, Connor Milner, Josh Adams, Mason Green and Ashley Barker.

Brampton U11s drew 1-1 with Norton Lees.

Keegan scored for Rovers with Jordan Pemberton being named man of the match.

A fantastic performance saw Brampton U12s sign off the season with a fine 2-0 victory over Stocksbridge Park Steels.

Goals from Jake Stanton and Zak Burns sealed the win while match awards went to Toby Dawes, Aidan Barker and Luke Boden.

Kieran Brown scored a hat-trick as Brimwood United U13s defeated Matlock Hawks 7-2. Others on target were Josh Dykes 2 and Cory Burton 2.

Man of the match was Jacob Holden.

Danny Masters weighed in with a treble for Brimwood U15s but it was in vain as opponents Old Whittington won 7-3.

Somersall Rangers Yellows U14s had two goals from Joe Bradbury as they defeated Heanor Staffs 4-3.

Also on target were Lewis Wilson and Alex Bradshaw. Man of the match was Ben Bradbury.

Wingerworth JSA edged a five-goal thriller against Tibshelf.

Scorers for the 3-2 winners were Josh Stables, Ross Booker and Rees Wallhead. Scooping the man of the match award was Tom Hawkins.

Brimwood U15s drew 2-2 with Chesterfield Cougars. The marksmen were man of the match Nathan Hughes and Jordan Healey.

Chesterfield Town U14s lost 3-1 against Alfreton Town Wild Cats. Town’s scorer was Wayne Turner.

Town U13 girls played a league cup game against Wirksworth Colts, and won 2-1. The goals came from Abbie Barlow and Megan Weston. Player of the match was Georgina Wilby.

Town U10s saw off Rainworth Rangers 2-1 with goals from Taylor Mcleish and Ethan Smith.

There were goals aplenty for Town U9s who defeated Handley Wood 20-1.

Hitting the target were Elliot Allsop 3, Finn Oakley 2, Rio Topham 2, Luke Waller 2, Ryam Mills 2, Louis Cottrell, Alex Bradbury, Braden Chadwick-Booth, Jamie Bonsor, Joe Millward, Sam Goodban, Joe Bramley, Reece Naylor, George Galpin.

Town U9s returned from Hasland Community with a 5-0 victory. Scorers were Reece Moseley 2, Jamiel Weir, Mitchell Wilkinson and Louis Cottrell. Man of the match was Joshua Barber.

Town U9 beat Shirebrook Rangers 2-0 and both goals came from Rio Topham.

Man of the match was Finn Oakley.
