Sri Chinmoy Race Team’s Tejvan Pettinger – the current course record holder, won the event. Pettinger’s time of 13:13 was way short of his own course record due to the conditions, but it was good enough to beat local Buzz Cycles rider Adam Kenway in to second spot.

Pettinger had ridden a time-trial specific bike with disc wheel, whereas Kenway was on a standard road bike, finishing just 28 seconds further back on 13:41.

Strange was the fastest Matlock CC rider, recording a time of 15:41 which was good enough for ninth place overall from 60 riders.

White was not far behind, finishing in 11th spot on 15:50 which was good enough for first place in the over 40s veteran category.

Local Zepnat riders Chris and Karen Ledger also put in strong performances, finishing with times of 16:01 and 17:47. Karen was third overall in the women’s category.

The team prize went to promoting club Buxton CC who had the fastest three riders combined together.
