Callum double at Shirebrook awards

Pride of Shirebrook FC U13s celebrated the close of their first season with their inaugural annual presentation night at Shirebrook Miners Welfare.

The evening included a viewing of the DVD that has been produced by Creative Forum following the recent project they have been part of called Sidelines hosted by Junction Arts in which the players designed and produced their own training tops.

A tombola and games of bingo raised the club 310 on the night and the main event of the evening was the presentation of the trophies.

The awards went to: Brodie Rodgers – Manager's Player; Most Improved Player – Joel Brickles; Players' Player – Callum Brooks; Supporters' Player – Callum Brooks; Top Goal Scorer – Jamie York; Neil Rodgers Award for Outstanding Sportsmanship – Joel Brickles; Mascot – Caitlin York.

Pride of Shirebrook FC would like to thanks its sponsors Future Developments, Prestige Street Furniture, Redwolf Training and everyone else who has helped make this first season a success.
