ALFRETON Town travel to face AFC Telford United at the New Bucks Head on Tuesday evening knowing they will have to buck the trend of poor results against the Shropshire side over recent years if they are to build on their current two-game Blue Square Bet Premier Division unbeaten run.
In six meetings between the clubs in all competitions in Shropshire, the Reds have only scored once and conceded 11 in losing five of the games.
The other was a goalless draw.
Manager Nicky Law will have to make enforced changes to his side following the 2-2 home draw with Ebbsfleet United on Saturday.
Midfield man Levi Mackin has a hamstring strain which will keep him sidelined for around a fortnight while utility man Matt Wilson has a hip injury and is rated as doubtful.
Changes will also have to be made up front with striker Nathan Jarman serving a one-match suspension after picking up his fifth caution of the season on Saturday. Drewe Broughton sits out as he completes his three-match suspension.
Andy Sinton’s side have won two, drawn one and lost two of their five home games so far. Victories have been recorded over Bath City and Newport County - both by the same 2-1 scoreline.
They shared the spoils with draw experts Stockport County in a 1-1 stalemate.
Telford go into the game in very good condition on the back of an unbeaten three-match run having secured very good away draws at Fleetwood Town (2-2) and Mansfield Town (1-1) and beaten Bath City 2-1 at the New Bucks Head.
