Sports students Jamie Boler and Joel Stubbs were in top form at the event, which was staged at Belper’s Chevin Golf Club.
Jamie’s net score of 66 and Joel’s 67 were good enough to earn them a place in the matchplay championships at Matlock Golf Club in September.
Jamie also qualified for the Midlands Championships at Hollinwell-based Notts Golf Club.
There were six members of the Chesterfield college team and the other four - Josh Vardy, John Callan, Adam Kitchen and Jordan Lemon - just missed out on progressing to the next stage despite playing good rounds.
