Gradie Featherstone has been celebrating after becoming a British Supercross champion.
The Tupton Hall student captured the 85cc crown after winning events at the Odessey Arena in Belfast, the O2 in London and the Echo Arena in Liverepool.
In addition Gradie (13), who lives in Wingerworth, became the first 85cc rider to clear the 70ft triple jump at the O2.
Gradie finished off last year in the Red Bull pro nationals winning ten races which is the premier British motocross championship, finishing off as one of the British top youth motocross for his age.
Gradie is also racing and training in Texas on a regular basis which means flying out to the USA on his own, which he has been doing since he was aged nine.
He will be riding in the pro nationals again this year but focusing more on racing in America where he aims to be competing professionally in the next three years.
