TOM Denton’s time with Alfreton Town has come to an end after the striker signed for Evo-Stik Northern Premier side Worksop Town for an undisclosed fee.

The move sees Denton rejoin Tigers where he recently spent a successful loan spell, bagging 11 goals in as many games.

The former Huddersfield Town man, who stands 6’5” tall, only joined the Reds on a two-year contract on August 8, 2012, following a very successful trial period with the club in pre-season.

But he has been unable to land a regular first team shirt and he leaves Alfreton having made just four substitute appearances.
