Liam Cooper could be a surprise inclusion in Chesterfield’s squad to face Barnet.
The centre-half, 21, limped off during the first half of the Spireites’ 2-2 draw with Port Vale on Easter Monday with an ankle knock.
But boss Paul Cook said he has a good chance of recovering in time to face Edgar Davids’ Bees on Saturday.
He said: “It was a bad knock and he got some bruising but he is looking like he might be involved this Saturday.”
Striker Marc Richards (ankle) will miss the trip to Underhill with Jack Lester, Armand Gnanduillet and the recalled Scott Boden pushing for a start.
Chesterfield sit six points off the play-offs with five games remaining and Cook promised to keep fighting until the end.
“Our season is not over. We’ve shown we can be a match for the top teams in this league and our target is to win these last five games,” he added.
The Spireites have won three of their last five but will be looking to avenge the 1-0 defeat in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
Barnet, meanwhile, have recorded seven clean sheets in their last eight at home and haven’t lost at Underhill since January 1.
They go into the game on the back of a 1-0 win at Wimbledon and have picked up eight points from the last available 15.
Steve Kabba and Ricky Holmes are injured, while Kyle De Silva and Barry Fuller are suspended.
Bees (4-5-1): Stack; Crawford, Stephens, Flanagan, Johnson; Marsh-Brown, Oster, Weston, Byrne, Davids; Hyde
Spireites (4-4-1-1): Lee; Brindley, Trotman, Cooper, Townsend; Darikwa, Togwell, Randall, Talbot; O’Shea; Lester
