Alfreton Town will be targeting back to back wins as they welcome Hyde to the Impact Arena for their latest Skrill Premier clash on Saturday.
The visitors are firmly rooted to the bottom of the table and seemingly destined for the drop, with just one win to their name this campaign.
However, that success did at least come fairly recently, with a 2-0 away win against Welling – although it has been followed up with successive defeats, most recently against Tamworth on Tuesday night.
Alfreton enter the clash in buoyant mood following a 2-1 away victory of their own over Welling, in the process ending a spell of two successive defeats.
That impressive away win has provided the Reds with a golden opportunity to string together back to back wins and as a result firmly cement their current position in the play-off spots.
The club’s most recent meeting though will act as a warning against complacency on Saturday afternoon, given that Alfreton needed two late goals to come from behind to win the reverse fixture
Hyde’s last visit to The Impact Arena though will bring back plenty of happy memories, with the Reds recording a 5-1 success – their biggest win of the 2012/13 campaign.
Connor Franklin made an impressive return off the subs bench against Welling and could well continue his comeback by playing some part in this fixture.
With the exception of long term absentee John McGrath, Reds manager Nicky Law is afforded the luxury of a fully fit squad.
