Former Liverpool, West Ham and Spurs defender Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock will speak at the next All-Star Events sporting dinner at the Proact Stadium.

Ruddock, who also won one full England cap, will be the special guest at the event on Thursday, April 30 (7pm for 7.30pm).

Further entertainment will be provided on the night by top comedian Jimmy Carol.

Sky Sports reporter Nick Johnson, who will host the event, said: “Razor went down a storm on his previous appearance in Chesterfield, so we’re delighted to be bringing him back to the town for his first visit to the Proact.

“He is a larger-than-life character who is one of the most popular speakers on the circuit. Razor’s popularity is illustrated by the fact that over 100 bookings have already been received.

“One thing is certain, with Razor and Jimmy Carol paired together, it won’t be an event for the faint-hearted, so if you’re easily offended, please stay away!”

The event will feature an auction of some items of sporting memorabilia. Tickets are priced at just £39. To book, please phone Janice Kew on 01246 209765 (ext 4153).
