If only Wirksworth Ivanoe could transfer their cup form to the league.

Saturday saw them back in cup action against Whaley Bridge Athletic Reserves who they beat 3-0.

Jack Higton, Callum Worth and Ben Marsh scored the goals to take Ivanhoe into the next round of the Derbyshire FA Divisional Cup North.

The same competition saw Cromford record a 5-1 win over Tintwistle. Both Danny Wildgoose and Billy Lobley scored twice with Joe Kaye grabbing the other goal.

Only two MRA league games escaped the attention of the weather and a decimated programme due to cup action.

Both of these were in Division Two with Shardlow St. James winning 5-3 at Newton and Melbourne Dynamo Reserves defeating Willington Sports 7-1.
