Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law has received another boost to his plans for the 2013/14 season with left-back Connor Franklin penning a new one-year contract to stay with the Reds.
A talented full-back who likes to get forward, Franklin, 25, was once again one of the most consistent performers for Alfreton last season, as they claimed a highest ever league placing in securing a third successive Conference Premier Division campaign.
A former England C International, Franklin (pictured) is heading into his fourth season with the Reds after he moved to the Impact Arena for an undisclosed four-figure fee from Hinckley United in August 2010.
A former Leicester City apprentice, he passed the one hundred appearances mark for the club last season.
The club feel it is that type of continuity throughout the majority of the squad which has paid major dividends for manager Law, who has been blessed with having several long-serving players at the club at the same time over the last six years.
