Alfreton Town are back in action on Tuesday evening when they will try to get their Derbyshire Senior Cup third round home tie against Whaley Bridge Athletic out of the way at the fourth attempt.

The tie has been abandoned once back on December 12th and postponed twice since due to a waterlogged Impact Arena playing surface.

Hopefully a better weather forecast will see the game played on Tuesday night.

Reds manager Nicky Law will be without defender Niall Heaton who has a hamstring strain which caused him to miss the 4-1 win at Brackley Town on Saturday and Law will also have to wait for a late fitness check on Andi Thanoj who came off injured in Northamptonshire at the weekend.

Kick-off is 7.45pm and extra time and penalties will be utilised if necessary.

The prize for the winners of the tie is a home game against Long Eaton United in the quarter finals of the competition.
