Derbyshire Senior Cup quarter-final draw: Long Eaton United await winners of Alfreton Town or Whaley Bridge Athletic

Long Eaton United await the winners of Alfreton Town or Whaley Bridge Athletic in the Derbyshire Senior Cup, following the quarter-final draw on Monday.

Alfreton and Whaley Bridge’s third round tie was abandoned midway through the second half on Saturday due to torrential rain, with the Reds leading 1-0.

The Derbyshire FA board met this morning to decide whether to let the score stand or to re-play the tie, with the week commencing December 21 offering a potential date.

The quarter-finals ties will be played week commencing January 11, 2016.

Alfreton Town FC or Whaley Bridge Athletic FC v Long Eaton United FC

Gresley FC v Buxton FC or Pinxton FC

Glossop North End FC v Belper Town FC

Heanor Town FC v Stapenhill FC or Holbrook Sports FC
