Former WBC world boxing champion Junior Witter will be the special guest at the charity cheque presentation evening tonight at the B2net Stadium.
Witter ‘The Hitter’, who was the world light-welterweight champion will be a guest of the TV soap stars team at the special night organised by Phil and Jamie Walker for the presentation of cheques to three nominated charities as a follow-up to the charity football match played at the B2net on Sunday, May 29, which raised nearly £20,000.
The evening will include match footage and photographs of the charity game between Chesterfield legends and soap stars.
There will be a Q & A session with plasyers from both teams, an auction, and presentation of the three cheques to the Lymphoma Association, the Shannon Bradshaw Trust, and the Chesterfield FC Community Trust.
There is entertainment by Chesterfield Legends and crowd favourites, Dave Caldwell and Bob Newton, master of ceremonies Phil Tooley.
There is a licensed bar until 11pm.
