Chesterfield FC goalkeeper Tommy Lee is the supporters’ Player of the Year for the third consecutive season, the first time that this has been achieved by a Blues player.

The Spireites keeper also picked up the awards for season 2011/12 as Players’ Player of the Year and the Young Spireites Player of the Year.

The annual event was held at the B2net Stadium on Sunday and included an emotional farewell to Barrie Hubbard who was making his last public appearance as chairman of the club after his involvement at board level for most of the last 29 years.

Other winners in the annual end of season awards were: Young Player of the Year: Jack Broadhead; Goal of the Season: Danny Whitaker for his strike at Hartlepool United on April 14; Top Goalscorer: Jordan Bowery with 12 goals; Community Award: Gregor Robertson; Most Outstanding Moment of the Season: Shirt waving Craig Westcarr scorer of the winning goal at Wembley in the JP Trophy final against Swindon; Tokyo Spireites Player of the Year: Alex Mendy.
