Chesterfield FC striker Jack Lester will miss the next three games after the Spireites decided not to appeal against the FA charge of violent conduct for an incident during last weekend’s home game against Walsall.
The incident which happened in the 84th minute was not spotted by the match referee but a complaint was lodged after the game.
Walsall were leading 1-0 at the time and In the 90th minute, Lester scored an equalising goal.
The charge was made under FA Law 12 for an incident not seen by match officials at the time but caught on video.
The suspension applies immediately with Lester missing the two away games at Huddersfield Town on Boxing Day and Scunthorpe United on New Year’s Eve, plus the home game against Oldham Athletic on Monday, January 2.
