SPIREITES: Notts County v Chesterfield FC key battle

Sam Morsy missed the reverse fixture with a hamstring injury but has since been a consistent performer for Chesterfield in their rise up the League One table.

The Spireites midfielder has produced several influential displays in the engine room, not least against Derby County in the fourth round of the FA Cup of late.

Morsy drives the team forwards, is always close to the action and has taken on the armband in recent weeks in the absence of club captain Ian Evatt through injury.

Chesterfield’s resolve will be tested at Notts on Saturday and will need their key players to stand up and be counted, as they have done so many times this season already.
