Chesterfield manager Paul Cook says his team will not be taking their FA Cup First Round opponents lightly, whoever they end up facing.
The Spireites will travel to either Braintree or Weymouth in the first round of the prestigious competition over the weekend of November 7-10.
Weymouth and Braintree will go head to head on Tuesday night in a fourth round qualifying match replay after a goalless draw on Saturday.
And Cook said: “Whether it’s Braintree or Weymouth it’ll be a great occasion and exactly what the FA Cup is all about.
“We’ll be going down to a non-league club and they’ll have a glint in their eyes planning to take a League One scalp.
“We’ll be travelling down showing them the greatest of respect and not taking either side lightly because we know how hard it’ll be.
“The bottom line is that this will be a great day in the FA Cup for the home fans and it’ll also be a good day for our travelling supporters.
“We’re looking forward to it and hoping we’ll be able to do enough to get to the second round.”
Chesterfield face Swindon Town tonight in League One at the Proact Stadium.
