Chesterfield boss Paul Cook named an unchanged line up to that which lost 1-0 at Walsall on Saturday.

The Spireites operated with Oscar Gobern in front of the back four at the Banks’s Stadium though Cook may opt for a more attacking shape at home.

There is no place in the match day squad for Gary Roberts against his former club but Gboly Ariyibi takes up a place on the substitutes bench.

Chesterfield will be looking to end the month as they started it - with a home win.

The Spireites are without a win in four games since they overcame Sheffield United 3-2 on October 4 and are need of points.

Paul Cook’s side have since lost to Bristol City, drawn with Oldham Athletic and lost at Colchester United and Walsall FC.

They face a Swindon Town side at the Proact Stadium who are just a place and four points above them in the League One table.

The Robins, managed by Mark Cooper, have been on similar form of late, their last win coming on the same day as Chesterfield’s.

Michael Smith has ten goals for the season already and scored twice on Saturday in a 2-2 draw at home to Colchester United.

But the Spireites have their own striker in top form in Eoin Doyle, who has 15 for the season, but without a goal in his last three.
