Relegated Chesterfield ended their tenure in League One with a disappointing home defeat against Brentford.

The visitors took a 12th minute lead through Leon Legg who headed in a free kick from Sam Saunders.

Brentford doubled their advantage on the hour through Toumani Diagouraga after Mark Allott had lost possession in midfield.

Ten minutes later Franck Moussa pulled one back for Chesterfield when he fired home the rebound after substitute Scott Boden had hit a post in the 80th minute.
