Oldham Athletic manager Lee Johnson is well aware to the threat posed by in-form Chesterfield striker Eoin Doyle.
Doyle is topping the charts throughout English football with 15 goals in all competitions so far this season.
It has helped the Spireites to sixth in League One prior to kick-off and Johnson is well aware of his threat.
“You have to make sure you are aware, as defenders, of his qualities. That is what we will be doing through video analysis,” said Johnson.
“You have to be aware of his movements. He scores all types of goals and has hit a real purple patch, similar to Jonathan Forte when he was flying.”
Forte has seven this campaign and is back in contention for today’s game after struggling with a persistent knee problem.
George Elokobi and Adam Lockwood are absent through injury while Genserix Kusunga returned from international duty with Angola midweek.
Chesterfield are without duo Sam Hird and Drew Talbot while Aaron Chapman returned from a loan spell at Accrington Stanley early due to injury.
