Chesterfield FC is once again urging local people to do something amazing by giving blood when the NHS Blood and Transplant Service both return to the B2net Stadium for another lifesaving donor session.
There has been an overwhelming response for previous blood donor sessions at the Whittington Moor ground as the club, the NHS Blood and Transplant service all commend the public’s dedication to the cause.
There will be two upcoming sessions at the B2net; the first to be held on Monday, June 13, with the second to follow shortly after on Monday, July 4.
The blood doner session times are as follows: Monday, June 13: 12.15pm to 3pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Monday, July 4: 12.15pm to 3pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
Normally walk-in donors are more than welcome but such is the demand for previous sessions at the B2net Stadium that bookings in advance are being advised by ringing 0300 123 23 23.
Donor Care Supervisor Diane Carson said: “We get an unbelievable response from our sessions at the B2net Stadium as it is proving to be a very popular venue.”
Chesterfield FC chief executive Carol Wilby said: “Giving blood is such special gift which can help so many people so we are delighted that there continues to be such an overwhelming response to giving blood at the B2net.”
