Chesterfield FC have made their fourth summer signing.
Defender Terrell Forbes, who began his career with West Ham United, has joined the Spireites on a one-year deal.
Forbes, 30, helped QPR to a promotion before spells at Grimsby Town, Oldham Athletic and Yeovil Town where he made 163 appearances.
For the last two seasons he has been with Leyton Orient, making 73 appearances for them before his release last month.
Chesterfield FC Manager John Sheridan said: “Terrell can play in a number of defensive positions and I am delighted he is joining us as he is a player I wanted to sign a couple of seasons ago.”
The Spireites other signings are goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell, marksman Marc Richards, who netted 17 times for Port Vale last season, and central defender Sam Hird who played with Doncaster in the Championship last season.
