Community Trust collection day at Chesterfield v Charlton

Saturday is '˜Bring a £1 for the Community Trust Day' at the Proact and there will be collectors around the stadium before the game and at half time.

The collectors will be from one of the Trust’s partners, Chesterfield Ladies FC.

The Trust work with a variety of people in Chesterfield and north Derbyshire aged 2–75 yearsold, inspiring people through a range of sporting, educational and community-based activities.

John Croot, chief executive of the Community Trust, said: “Our aim is to work in partnership with our communities to help develop a range of opportunities for all to improve the quality of life and outlook for individuals, groups and neighbourhoods in Chesterfield and the surrounding area.”

Player/coach Ritchie Humphreys said: “I have been involved with the Trust for a number of years, and have seen first-hand the fantastic work that they deliver. If you are in a position to donate to the Community Trust, then you can be assured that the money will be used to support people in our community.”
