Chesterfield beaten by late Oldham goal

Despite Sylvan Ebanks-Blake’s fifth goal in as many games, Chesterfield were beaten 2-1 in today’s home League One clash as struggling Oldham Athletic hit back with two second half goals.

The home goal came in the 34th minute as the Oldham keeper palmed away a Daniel Jones cross only as far as Ebanks-Blake for a right-footed finish.

During the half an Oldham supporter was stretchered away from the away end.

But Dominic Poleon levelled on 72 minutes before Danny Philliskirk stole the win with s hot from outside the box with just three minutes to go.
