Tickets are now on sale for Charity Cheque Presentation Evening at Chesterfield FC’s B2net Stadium.
And it is hoped that the match - which was staged in May plus an auction on the night - will raise more than £20,000 for good causes.
Tickets for the evening cost £10 each or £100 for a table for ten.
The match was between a side of Chesterfield FC legends and a team containing TV stars and celebrities put together by Jamie Walker, son of ex-Spireites striker Phil Walker.
The game raised £19,600 and it is hoped an auction at the presentation evening on Thursday, August 18, will take the money raised to over the £20k mark.
Highlight of the evening will be entertainment provided guest speakers Dave Caldwell and Bob Newton who will regale guests with amusing tales of their former team-mates.
The duo will be kept in check by MC Phil Tooley.
Up for auction will be a framed Nottingham Forest European Cup memorabilia item from 1978/79 and 1979/80 signed by Brian Clough, Trevor Francis, John Robertson and John McGovern, kindly donated by Paul White, of Hickling and Squires Printers, who was one of the sponsors of the match as well as a Tottenham Hotspur shirt signed by Spurs and England star Michael Dawson.
The evening will include DVD clips and photographs of the charity game and there will be a questions and answers session with the Chesterfield Legends and some of the soap stars who appeared in the game. Legends include Ernie Moss, Kevin Randall, Alan Birch, Chris Marples, Andy Kowalski , Sean O’Neill and Andy Morris.
The evening starts at 7pm for 7.30pm and the bar will be open until 11pm. Tickets on sale at the Chesterfield FC club shop.
The evening will end with presentation of the three cheques to the Lymphoma Association, and the Shannon Bradshaw Trust and the Chesterfield Community Trust.
