Chesterfield have captured the signing of forward Jay O’Shea after the Irishman’s contract with MK Dons was terminated by mutual consent.
The forward, 24, has put pen to paper on a deal which will see him stay at the Proact until June 2014.
The Irishman scored twice during a recent loan spell which came to an end after last Saturday’s game against Wycombe.
Spireites boss Paul Cook was keen to bring him back to the club and has achieved that in time for this weekend’s action.
O’Shea is expected to be available for tomorrow’s game against Northampton Town.
