This Saturday (September 21) sees Buxton Football Club’s ‘Bucks In The Community’ scheme re-start its popular Saturday morning football sessions.

The workshops follow the club’s highly successful school holiday camps.

Sessions will take place at Harpur Hill College Sports Hall.

The 10-11am session is open for Ages 3-5, whilst 11am-12pm sessions are open to children aged 6-12.

Sessions are open to both boys and girls. The cost is £3.50, with block booking and sibling discounts available.

The club is even laying on a special introductory offer with every child’s first session completely free of charge.

The sessions will include different skills and techniques each week including passing, goalkeeping, shooting and much more.

Medals, trophies and Buxton FC prizes are to be won each week.

Buxton FC Community Coach Chris Hill said: “We are delighted to me making the next step in our community scheme.

“We are hoping our Saturday sessions can be a great way to start the weekend, with the children coming to train in the morning and then to the game at the Silverlands in the afternoon.”

For more information call Chris on 07970634994.

Alternatively children can simply turn up to this Saturday’s free session and give it a go.
