Alfreton Town will be looking for their first win of the season when they travel to Southport on Saturday.

Reds manager Nicky Law will be looking for his side to build on a first point of the season gained on Tuesday night in a 1-1 home draw with Altrincham.

Law will have both Lathaniel Rowe-Turner and Anthony Howell available again after suspension, but there are still injury doubts over Dan Bradley, Duane Courtney, Chris Smith and Paul Clayton.

Nathan Hicks is definitely out having been hospitalised with a shoulder injury during Tuesday night’s game against Altrincham.

Southport have eight points from two wins and two draws so far.

The victories have both been achieved on home soil with a 2-1 win over Altrincham being added to an impressive 1-0 success over Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday night.

The draws were gleaned from a goal-less stalemate at Torquay United and a 3-3 sharing of the points at AFC Telford United.
