ALFRETON Town FC Supporters’ Association has been incredibly busy backing the club off the field as well as on it this season.

As well as organising the usual away travel for fans to visit Blue Square Bet Premier Division grounds, the members have held a range of social events and fund raisers to generate as much help as they possibly can to help the club out in what is already a momentous first season ever at non league’s top table.

The monies raised have already purchased three new flat screen televisions, worth £800 for the club’s bars, hospitality lounge, and boardroom at the Impact Arena, £2,000 for a new satellite system so Reds supporters can enjoy live games in the bars even when the team are not playing and a £4,000 donation to the club.

Any supporters who are not yet members of the association can gain further information by contacting any member of staff at the Impact Arena on home games or by calling supporters’ association chairman Roger Webster on (01773) 520851, treasurer Mark Thorpe on (01773) 836251 or membership secretary Viv Staimar on 07523 883784.
