Staveley-based race team move up to third in East Midlands rankings

Andy Moore Autocentres Racing today moved up to third place in the East Midlands 2014 Regional Club Road and Track Rankings.

The Staveley-based outfit has accumulated 150 points so far this season - enough to see them move above Derby Mercury RC (148) in fourth and Leicester Forest (132) in fifth.

Adam Turner leads the five-man race team with 60 points followed by Andy Bishop (37), Damien Shakespeare (18), Jono Dexter (18) and Thomas Sutton (17).

They could be in action twice in the coming days with Leicester Castle Premier on Sunday and Blyton Colsed Circuit on Tuesday, with their sights set on catching Team Zenith (159) in second and current leaders Beeston RC (293).

Clay Cross RT are ranked seventh (109), Heanor Clarion CC 15th (66), Chesterfield Coureurs CC 20th (45), Bolsover & District CC 26th (24), Matlock CC 34th (16), Belper BC 42nd (2).
