A group of football fans cycling from Belgium to Chesterfield are going from strength to strength in their bid to raise money for Ashgate Hospice.
The Belgian Cycling Spireites, although finding it difficult to cope with the recent cold spell, were in good spirits.
“We are building up our strength nicely - last time we cycled 50km and we will keep on increasing our distance,” said the team.
“We will be cycling from Hull all the way to Chesterfield on the Trans Pennine Trail so hopefully it will be safer than being on the roads.
“We all send our best wishes to the fans and our good luck to the team for the rest of the season, particularly for Saturday’s big game against Bradford City. Come on you Spireites!”
They will be in attendance for Chesterfield’s last match of the season at the Proact Stadium.
