Chesterfield Town’s U9s and U10s have clinched their respective Benevolent Cup finals at the Impact Arena, home of Alfreton Town.
The U9s clash against Teversal finished 1-1 after extra time. Finn Oakley was on target for Town. The game went to a penalty shoot out which Town eventually won 4-3.
The U10s final was an all Chesterfield Town affair with Chesterfield Town taking on Chesterfield Town Whites and coming out on top 3-1.
Jamie Sharman and Mathew Tomlinson, with a superb long range shot, were on target for Town before a late penalty was slotted away by Ethan Vann to setup a tense last few minutes.
However, Town sealed their victory over the Whites with the third goal from Jamie Sharman almost immediately afterwards to clinch the Cup.
Meanwhile, Chesterfield Town Juniors U10s, netted 16 goals in two games.
The first was a resounding 10-0 defeat of Walesby. James Hinchley 4 and Ethan Smith 3 were among the goals. Others came from Tom Weaver 2 and Conor Lowton.
The other win for the Juniors came away at FC Interski. Ethan Smith led the waywith another hat-trick, while Brandon Strawinski 2 and Taylor McCleish also found the net.
Chesterfield Town U9 beat Handley Wood 20-1.
Scorers were Elliot Allsop 3, Finn Oakley 2, Rio Topham 2, Luke Waller 2, Ryam Mills 2, Louis Cottrel, Alex Bradbury, Braden Chadwick-Booth, Jamie Bonsor, Joe Millward, Sam Goodban, Joe Bramley, Reece Naylor and George Galpin.
Chesterfield Town U13s girls defeated Alfreton 7-0. On target were Ellie Dunn 3, Leigh Worsdale 3 and player of the match Emily Stevenson.
