Internationals on show as Derbyshire host Somerset

Several cricket stars are set to be on show this morning as Derbyshire take on Somerset in the LV= County Championship.

England internationals Marcus Trescothick, Craig Kieswetter and Nick Compton are all expected to feature for the visitors, who go head-to-head with Karl Krikken’s side that boast world number two Test batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul.

It will be the first four-day contest between the two sides at Derby since 2007.

Somerset have won the toss and have asked Derbyshire to bat first. Play begins at 11am.
