Another win treble from Corey Wilson, Chesterfield AC’s top Under 13 girl athlete, was the high spot of the club’s trip to Humberside in the recent second match of the UK Young Athletes League season.
There were also win doubles from Sam Spolding and Ed Selvey.
However, despite having some very good quality athletes, the club is short of numbers in both of the U17 age-groups - the ones which have the greatest number of events to fill in the League’s programme - with consequent effect on the final score.
