CFSS say yes to share sale
Members of fans group CFSS have voted overwhelmingly to approve the sale of its shares in Chesterfield FC.
Ninety-four percent voted in favour of authorising the CFSS board to sell the shares, which could raise in excess of 225,000 for community projects at the club's new ground.
CFSS, a supporters' trust, will be retaining its original shareholding of 6,240 shares bought with the money raised at its launch meeting at the Winding Wheel in 2001.
The CFSS is to hold an open meeting later in the year to give members the chance to discuss the society's community aspirations.
