Baugh scored 29 points as Arrows saw off a spirited and aggressive Knights team, who hail from a division below them in the National League.

They quickly surged into a 12-0 lead thanks to good defence leading to quick transition. But then Knights responded with a 12-point run of their own and looked very dangerous in the second quarter as the Derbyshire side stuttered.

Thankfully, baskets from Naphtali Nembhard, who scored ten points in all, Paul Heymann and Aaron Moseley, who ended up with 12 points, helped Arrows take a slender interval lead of 39-32.

The teams continued to slug it out in the third quarter before a run of baskets from Baugh enabled Arrows to take a degree of control at 63-49.

Knights continued to press hard, but Arrows looked the fitter and stronger side the longer the tie went on and they soon began to entertain the crowd with a string of impressive baskets.

Ivan Ivanov showed his passing skills, while Aidan Dennison produced two nice finishes. There were also 14 points for Andreas Lycoudis.

In the next round, Arrows face Derby Trailblazers from a division higher.
