Arrows pulled off a second successive victory over teams in the top four with a 91-89 win over Loughborough Riders.

The hosts, who occupied second place in the EBL Division Two prior to the match up, were 23-15 up in the first but lost the following three quarters as Arrows marched to an unlikely victory.

Arrows took the lead inside the last 25 seconds with both Rob Valentine and James Kelly hitting clutch pairs of free throws.

Rob Valentine top scored with 38 points and was well supported by Akin Lisk–Carew (19) and James Kelly (12).

Dom Goff hit four points, which included a steal and assist in less than two minutes, while Danny Turner struck on the half time buzzer to cap Arrows’ day.

The following day and a rejuvinated Arrows recorded back-to-back wins with a 91-69 defeat of London Capitals.

The Capitals struggled to cope with Arrows’ new found confidence, with no less than five players recording double-digit scores.

Kelly set the tone from the start and made 67 per cent from the field for his ten points.

Valentine led with 29 while Rodrigues–Vinas (21), Chiguri (15) and Akin Lisk-Carew (12).
