Over 800 runners took to the streets of Dronfield for this year’s 10K event and fun run which was staged last Sunday.
Michael Tanner, of Sheffield RC, sealed top spot at the event with a time of 33:46.
Alasdair Campbell (Unattached) and Jan Pichl (Salford Harriers) were second and third respectively.
Dronfield fitness instructor Nicola Gleadall was the first woman home, as she finished a highly-respectable 21st overall (37:23.)
There were 837 entries for the race in total.
Matlock runner Tony Barrable sealed victory in the male over-60s category.
This was his 84th title race win and in doing so also set a new over-60s course record thanks to his finishing time of 39:47.
Tony said: “It was near perfect conditions but it was a bit of a tester.
“I was a little apprehensive going into this race carrying a sore throat.
“However all ended well with me being the first over-60 to record a time inside 40 minutes on this course in its 27th year of the races history.”
